AIR CONDITIONING CASE STUDIES
Daikin 3-Pipe VRV Installation:
BHS Marylebone Road, Central London.
UK Services had to execute a large 193 fan coil Daikin heat recovery project to specification and on time.
16 outdoor condensers were installed to a purpose built steal platform coupled in pairs serving 8 floors of new head office space. The external plant was positioned by a local Crainage company all organised by UK Services.
Hard drawn pipe work was installed as per schematics received via rises and routes as per drawings received and main contractor instructions, the pipe work was assembled using oxygen and acetylene brazing equipment whilst being purged at all times with oxygen free nitrogen suitably fixed and supported by our highly skilled certified engineers.
Health & Safety as always was paramount to this project.
Daikin 2-Pipe VRV Installation:
Berkley Homes, Royal Arsenal Woolwich.
The Royal Arsenal Woolwich site has recently been redeveloped, this historic riverside setting is now home to a mix of commercial, residential and leisure facilities.
UK Services were involved in the design and build to the sales suite.
6 large 10KW concealed systems were installed, solid spirally wound ductwork, insulated and terminated to liner slot diffusers all specifically fabricated for this project.
To maintain suitable ventilation levels Daikin HRV (heat recovery ventilation) systems were installed, which introduced fresh air to the fan coils and removed the stale air. The system recovers heat from the extracted air to warm the incoming air required.
Daikin Multi Installation:
BAE Systems, Barrow-In-Furnace.
The shipbuilding town of Barrow-In-Furnace is home to BAE Systems producers of nuclear attack submarines contracted by the MOD (ministry of defense).
UK Services were instructed to design and build an air-conditioning system suited to the new temporary modular office building at gate 2. Daikin twin and multi splits were specified and installed to wall mounted internal systems.
All pipe work due to the nature of the build was installed external, heavy duty galvanized tray containment was fabricated on site to suit the build.
Due to site requirements all our engineers had to complete stringent security clearance and inductions.
Mitsubishi Mini VRF Installation:
Maxims Casino, Central London.
Maxim's Casino Club is a prestigious and intermit gaming club situated in the heart of Knightsbridge, UK Services were instructed by Woodland Corporate Interiors to remove all existing plant that had reached the end of it's useful life, the R22 systems had become uneconomical and expensive to carry out repairs.
New Mitsubishi Electric Y Series heat pump R410A inverter mini VRF condensers were hooked up to multiple internal cassettes.
Our experienced engineers were able to recover and remove all refrigerant pipe work to Refcom and heath and safety recommendations.
With the club still functioning as normal, the installation proved difficult, as there were limited access point and our engineers had to be considerate of their working environment
The project was completed on time to everyone's satisfaction.
Daikin Split Installation:
Arsenal Emirates Stadium.
Sir Robert Mc Alpine began construction at Arsenal Football clubs new home in Ashberton Grove in 2004, UK Services were asked to attend site to devise a suitable air-conditioning scheme to suit the site welfare modular accommodation.
33 floor mounted Daikin systems were installed back to back for easy installation and relocation purposes.
In addition to the new site installation UK Services were contracted to remove, document and provide certification for refrigerant recovery for all air-conditioning/refrigeration plant at the Highbury stadium ready for demolition contractors.
UK Services were able to execute the project requested as all our skilled engineers are fully City and Guilds 2078 certified/Acrib registered we are also a Refcom Approved company.
UK Services were able to remove and safely dispose of all refrigerants in compliance to all recommendations and health and safety law.

International Greetings is one of the worlds leading designers, innovators and manufacturers of gift wrap, christmas crackers, cards, stationary and accessories.
Not only have UK Services recently installed a 20 fan coil Daikin 2-pipe VRV system we also take care of their planned maintenance.
The site is regularly inspected and serviced to ensure maximum life span and efficiency.
Daikin Split Installation:
Mr. F Warren, Sports Network.
Mr. Warren is a well recognised and respected in the world of boxing and regularly writes for the News of the World.
He contacted UK Services to advise on providing an air-conditioning solution to his local luxury family home, we were only to happy to help.
UK Services were responsible for installing a number of Daikin concealed systems to the loft space this included solid spiral insulated ductwork coupled with bespoke plenham boxes and grilles these were RAL colour coded to suit the existing décor.
The Warrens were so impressed with the service we provided we are now involved with there London Bridge penthouse development.
